J M Fabweld was established in 1968 to provide engineering services to the steel manufacturing sector and related industries. From those beginnings, we have expanded to provide an extensive range of multi-disciplinary skills that can be implemented across a wide variety of industries and sectors.

From one off bespoke component to batch produced assemblies, our team have a proven track record of fulfilling our clients’ needs in a timely and professional manner.

Tata Steel UK

We have worked alongside Tata Steel for over 50 years undertaking projects for plants throughout their UK based operations.

A specialty service we provide is the ground up refurbishment of industrial bogie assemblies. We carry out anything from full strip, inspect, and refurbishment projects to localised fault finding work.

We also manufacture new assemblies, whether it be from engineering drawings, rough sketches, or reverse engineering from pattern, or even a partial pattern.

Wepa

Working in numerous sectors we naturally work with many different material types. For instance over the 30 years we have worked with paper manufacturer Wepa UK based in Bridgend we’ve worked extensively in 304 and 316 grade stainless steels. Producing components such as high precision off set shafts, eccentric bearing housing, and cambered latch rollers.
